Privacy,
in plain words

We do not sell personal data or run advertising trackers. If you join the waitlist, contact us, submit event material or buy a pass, we use the information needed to handle that request and run Music Summit Malta.

01

Who we are

Music Summit Malta is presented by AISO Academy & Partners, Malta, the data controller for this site. Reach us any time at summit@aisoacademy.com

02

What we collect, and why

If you join the ticket waitlist, we store your email address, signup source and signup time so we can send Music Summit Malta ticket and event news. We rely on the consent you give when joining, and every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. If you send an enquiry, application or speaker material, we use the information and files you provide to review and respond to that submission.

03

Ticket orders and payments

Stripe hosts the attendee checkout and collects the payment and billing details needed to process your purchase. Music Summit Malta does not receive or store your full card number or card security code. Our order record contains the customer name and email returned by Stripe, pass type, quantity, price and currency, payment status, Stripe transaction references and relevant timestamps. We use this information to provide event access, answer support or refund questions, reconcile payments and meet applicable record-keeping obligations.

04

Where it is processed

Supabase stores the summit's waitlist, submission and order records. Vercel hosts this site and its server functions. Stripe provides hosted checkout and payment processing, and Resend delivers emails we send through the site. These providers handle data only as needed to provide their services, subject to their applicable terms and safeguards. Stripe's own handling of payment data is described in its privacy policy

05

How long we keep it

Waitlist details are kept until the 2026 summit concludes or you unsubscribe, whichever comes first. Enquiries and submitted event material are kept only while needed to handle the submission and organise the event. Order and transaction records are kept for as long as needed to provide the pass, resolve support, payment or refund issues, and meet applicable accounting, tax and legal obligations. Stripe retains payment data under its own retention policies.

06

Cookies & tracking

The public summit site does not run advertising analytics or trackers. A strictly necessary, secure session cookie is set only after an administrator signs in to the private dashboard. When you continue to Stripe's hosted checkout, Stripe may use cookies and similar technologies needed for payment security and checkout functionality.

07

Your rights

You can ask what personal data we hold about you and, depending on the circumstances, ask us to correct, delete, restrict or provide it, or object to its use. Some transaction records cannot be deleted immediately where we must keep them by law. Write to summit@aisoacademy.com You may also complain to the Information and Data Protection Commissioner in Malta or your local supervisory authority.
